My Point Of View

Okay, new blog.I was kinda just blabbing on on those last two, sorry I sometimes do that. What's on the planner for me today? After my Mom's meeting here at the library it's lunchtime and then going to go see The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants with my sister and a friend. I'm really excited to see the movie because Ilove the books, I just hope the movie is just as good. Like for some books turned movies it's just not as good, although I think they did a good job with A Walk To Remember. After the movie all us kids go home, Mom is off to work and we have to deal with the dogs. Did I forget to say that right now there are 6 puppies, 2 grown dogs and 3 cats living in our house?! And it's not like they go outside, our yard isn't fenced in and living in the ghetto it's not like you want your pets outside. So needless to say it's a hard job and not very fun. But their so cute.

Still at the library and just got done scanning through the new Teen People, first of all, I love Teen People and mostly all other magazines. And I have to say that I am very impressed with it. I love the fashion, amke up and hair articles of corse but I like how they do real stories on people's lives and what's going on with teens and the world. Like the article on teen drinking, which I know is a big problem. Lots of underage drinking and driving going on with my friends and I love reading any information to stay in the know and maybe even convince my friends to hold off on the drinking.

Right now I'm at the library where my Mom works. I'm helping to get kids started with the Summer Reading Program. I used to do it every year, I had to be the first one there to sign up and I'd usually get the whole thing done in a month and this was supposed to last three months so you can see that I had no life and loved reading. What exactly makes most of us begin to slack off on reading as we grown older? I know I have, books seemed really very boring but all the kids I help sign up are just thrilled and so excited about the prizes and trying to get their goals done. I wish I could be that excited about reading and learning. Now I put so much pressure on myself to make everything perfect and will honestly get mad at myself if it's not good enough for my standards.

Okay, my first blog and I'm trying to get my thoughts all together here. This, first of all, is really cool.I love to write and although I may not be a Jane Austin, it's fun and a release for me. So the point of this blog is kinda like a doucumintation of what I think about stuff, mostly my life because believe me you don't want to hear my lame views of world issues, which I'm sorry to say I know nothing about.
